Dear Professor Matthews:

Congratulations on the opening of your new club. I came across your help- wanted advertisement and would like you to consider my application for a teaching and/or management position. I will graduate from Mercer County Community College in the spring of 2007 with a degree in Business Management, and I have been playing tennis since I was four years old.

I've worked as a desk clerk for 3 years at Winning Touch Tennis, and was promoted to Junior Manager last year. I also have taught several private lessons, group lessons, and summer camps. My responsibilities include stringing racquets, managing the desk, maintaining the pro-shop, and various custodial and landscaping jobs. I feel as though I have developed excellent customer relation skills, as well as an extensive knowledge of the game through my experiences as a tennis instructor.

I have also taken several Internet and word processing courses that have expanded my computer skills. I am as confident in my instructional abilities as I am in my management skills, and would be happy to take one whatever responsibilities you may need.
