College Voice Staff
Compensation
To
become a full and active staff member of the VOICE you must be a
student at Mercer County Community College with a GPA of 2.5. See the Policy Manual for more details.

COMPENSATION:
The EIC and ME are compensated in tuition remission for 6 credits or
half of their total course load (which ever is less). All other
contributors are awarded for their contributions in the form of gift
cards provided the satisfy all criteria needed to secure such awards.
See chart below for details. Note: online only issues use a revised
awards structure in which featured stories and breaking news stories
earn $20, and all photos and ad sales earn $5; no other awards are made
for online only issues.
